ASD MOTORSPORTS ADDS WIL HERRINGTON AND A SUPER DIRT LATE MODEL TEAM IN 2024

Charlotte, NC (12/5/2023) - Entering their eighteenth year of motorsport operations for 2024, North Carolina based ASD Motorsports has committed to a two-car program in the highly competitive Super Dirt Late Model ranks, competing nationally throughout the USA for the entire season.

27-year-old Wil Herrington, from Hawkinsville, GA has signed to drive the team primary 14x race car at 70 events throughout the year. Highly regarded as a fast young talent well on the way to making a name for himself on the National circuit, Herrington claimed four wins in 2023 and finished in the top five in over 21% of all races entered. Experienced veteran campaigner, John Henderson from North Augusta, SC, will round out the teams second entry driving the 2x race car in select National events throughout the season.

ASD Motorsports has also teamed up with veteran race car constructor Barry Wright Race Cars (Cowpens, SC), running what is effectively a BWRC house car program, with all race team operations housed in the newly constructed ASD Dirt Late Model facility in North Augusta, SC. Barry Wright Race Cars brings decades of experience to the team, having won numerous high-profile events over many years. The combined ASD and BWRC experience brings decades of motorsport success together at the highest levels across many forms of professional motorsport, and will create a formidable partnership to build on throughout the season and years to come.

Commercial marketing partner discussions are ongoing for the 2024 season. All potential commercial partners interested in joining the 2024 ASD Dirt Late Model program will benefit from a parallel in-house media and marketing team, with full time staff dedicated to digital content creation, distribution, and marketing services. ASD will continue to operate its own already successful internal motorsport parts outlet at www.asdmotorsports.com, adding further value to commercial partnerships by distributing partner products where applicable. Early release 2024 team merchandise is already available on the ASD website.

One of four brand new BWRC built ASD Motorsports race cars will be on display this week, December 7th – 9th, in the Penske Shocks booth in Indianapolis, Indiana at the PRI show. Wil Herrington and other team staff will be on location to answer any questions in person. The Penske Shocks booth is located in the Green Hall, #1625.
