Only available through ASD Motorsports with a MONEY BACK GUARANTEE if you don’t love our e-brake (making love to ASD’s e-brake is not recommended as the CNC machined 6061 aluminum is unforgiving and frankly cold).

Isn’t one of the most important things in drifting a high-performing and reliable e-brake?
ASD custom designed and built its hydro e-brake systems from the best materials possible to provide the maximum performance in the harsh demanding environment of professional drifting competition – as a bonus ASD’s form following function design also happens to look bad-ass too!
This is the same e-brake used in all ASD’s race cars competing and winning global drift events including Formula D, Word Drift Series and King of Europe. It’s also not surprising that many professional drivers and teams competing against ASD also use an ASD e-brake – heck, we don’t discriminate.
We’re so confident that you’ll love our e-brake that we offer a money back guarantee (see tab above).
The e-brake’s product features include:
- 16” e-brake handle, CNC machined from 6061 aluminum
- Wilwood master cylinder
- Black powder coating on base and master cylinder
- 6061 red anodized FK bearing heim joint
- Aircraft grade hardware
- Optional master cylinder sizes (5/8″ or 3/4″)
- Optional hydraulic delivery system types (‘pass through’ or ‘reservoir’)
- Turnkey hardware installation options
- Complete E-brake assembly weighs less than 2.3 lbs.
WARNING: installation of ASD’s e-brake will make the driver grin continuously
ASD has created two e-brake designs, based on driver feedback and personal preference – neither is ‘right’ or ‘wrong,’ its down to your handle preference as both designs perform equally:
Pull-Up e-brake design with the more traditional ‘pull-up’ operation via a 16″ long handle (the product page you are currently viewing), and the…
16″ Pull-Back e-brake design allowing you to place the handle closer to your hand position on the steering wheel.
EASY TO INSTALL
To provide universal car applications for all makes, models and years ASD allows you to customize your e-brake to fit your specific need – please refer to the:
This is a universal fit product, so mounting the e-brake handle into your vehicle in the best location is your responsibility. Since this is a universal fit product, ASD does not include a hydraulic brake line or handle mount kits, again, this is your responsibility. (scroll to top)
CART PULL DOWN MENUS – HOW TO ORDER
ASD’s pull-down cart ordering system will help you select a custom, hand-built e-brake designed specifically to achieve the best performance possible. After selecting your e-brake’s options from our ‘pull-down’ menus, the product image window beside your CART button will automatically update to show your selected product options installed along with an updated price. Click on the image window(s) to enlarge product images.
To custom order your e-brake to fit your car choose from the following options:
SELECT E-BRAKE SYSTEM TYPE:
OPTION 1) Pass Through – the pass through e-brake is designed for cars using one brake caliper installed on each wheel (standard equipment on most cars).
OPTION 2) Reservoir – the reservoir e-brake houses its own brake reservoir working independently from the car’s own brake system. This system is used for cars using two brake calipers installed on each wheel.
SELECT BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER SIZE: Please refer to the ASD E-Brake Master Cylinder Diameter Sizing Guide (click here)
OPTION 1) 0.625 (5/8″)
OPTION 2) 0.750 (3/4″)
SELECT (AN OPTIONAL) HARDWARE KIT:
OPTION 1) No hardware installed on your e-brake – you don’t want this option unless you have custom fittings and are already familiar with the ASD product.
PASS THROUGH SYSTEM OPTIONS (as you chose in the first pull-down menu)
OPTION 2) Pass Through Hard Line Adapter – with this option your e-brake will come pre-installed with two adapters in both your ‘inlet’ and ‘outlet’ ports of your ASD E-brake’s master cylinder converting a 7/16-24 thread to a more common 3/16″ (3/8-24 thread) hard line brake nut (in most cases automotive manufacturers use a 3/16″ hard line brake nut as standard original equipment).
BOTTOM-LINE: if you are plumbing an ASD E-brake using a pass through master cylinder into a vehicle using existing 3/16″ steel hard lines you will require this adapter with your order.
OPTION 3) Pass Through -3AN Adapter – with this option your e-brake will come pre-installed with two -3AN adapters in both ‘inlet’ and ‘outlet’ ports of your ASD E-brake’s master cylinder*
* Note: -3AN is an U.S. military-grade fitting specification used to connect flexible and rigid tubing carrying fluids.
RESERVOIR SYSTEM OPTIONS (as you chose in the first pull-down menu)
OPTION 4) Reservoir Hard Line Adapter – with this option your e-brake will come pre-installed with one adapter in the ‘outlet’ port of your ASD E-brake’s master cylinder converting a 7/16-24 thread to a more common 3/16″ (3/8-24 thread) hard line brake nut (in most cases automotive manufacturers use a 3/16″ hard line brake nut as standard original equipment).
OPTION 5) Reservoir -3AN Adapter – with this option your e-brake will come pre-installed with one -3AN adapter in the ‘outlet’ port of your ASD E-brake’s master cylinder
STILL CONFUSED ON WHAT TO ORDER?
NO BIG DEAL! Alternatively, tell us what rear calipers you are running (brand and model). With this information the ASD engineering staff will calculate what size master cylinder piston you need to ensure a very effective hydraulic e-brake with minimal handle effort at no extra cost.
You can also email us ahead of time to discuss your specific performance needs at email@example.com. If contacting us via email, please be sure to include the brand and model of rear calipers you are running.
